Really works!
With all the thickening products out there on the market today, it's hard to find one that lives up to the hype. With this, although I can't claim to have instantly gone from Twiggy to Bardot, I did notice a visible difference in the plumpness of my locks.

Great product.
I have been using Nioxin DiaMax for about 4 months and what a great product. It has helped me manage my thinning hair at my crown. Please, don't stop selling this product.

Too expensive
I like this product. It does add volume to my hair, but it is way too expensive. I style my hair every day, and at that rate, I'll run out of this product in a few weeks. I cannot afford to keep buying this product that often. Please lower the price of this product. I like it, but it is too expensive!

Dream Product
I have always had fine, thin, straight hair. I have tried virtually every shampoo, conditioner, gain some volume. Some products do okay, especially when I use a blow dryer. Some products leave an odd feel. This product along with the Volumizing Reflectives is a dream come true! I do not even need to vlow dry - I have short hair - and I have volume and body! There is no residue or smell! My hair does not sit flat to my head! I may have to buy this stuff by the case! Thank you!

Nioxin Diamax
I am very pleased with the results of Diamax. My hair has thinned considerably on top and is difficult to cover my scalp. I have tried other products that did not meet my expectations. People comment to me about how full and thick my hair is. I don't share my secret with them. I will continue to use Diamax to help disperse my hair evenly and cover my scalp.

Hi how do you use this product? Thank you.
I spray it on my hair right after the shower and work it through, bunching my hair with my hands. It really does give my hair a lot more body which is great because I have baby-fine fly-away Donald Trump hair. The more you use, the more body it gives your hair.

After shampooing hair apply using the pump to add the Xtrafusion Treatment to your hair while your hair is still wet, and concentrate to the root area. Recommended amount to use is noted on the bottle.

Is this product good for hair that is colored and highlighted and is it a good conditioner for damaged hair?
My hairdresser actually recommended this product to me and she does color and adds a few highlights to my hair. My hair is baby fine and thin so we are careful as to what products that we do use. I absolutely love this, it's does give me volume.

does diamax acutually thicken hair over time, or just result in the the "appearance" of thickening
I did not like the product. I have thin fine hair, and the product weighed my hair down and made it unmangable. Don't waste your money

I have only used this product for about a week, so at this point I would have to say that it gives the appearance of thickening the hair.

I'm fairly certain it only results in the "appearance" of thickening.

The Nioxin Diamax Thickening Treatment i a great prduct. I use it right after I wash my hair, which is every other day. I was told that's the best time to apply the product. It leaves the hair very manageable and fluffy! Hopes this helps.

I absolutely love Nioxin Diamax Thickening Xtrafusion Treatment. I put it only on my wet hair, close to my roots, and do not use sparingly. I then comb it through my hair and then blow dry as usual. I noticed an improvement with my hair at least appearing thicker the first day I used it. I also find my hair more manageable. I tried it on my dry hair a few times and then used my blow dryer to dry it but I did not like the way it left my hair, so I would recommend only using it on wet hair. I have used Nioxin Shampoo for about 10 years now and it definitely helps my hair.

I prefer using it on wet hair. It gets dispersed more evenly, and doesn't leave those 'wet' spots.

do you use with a conditioner?
Yes! I shampoo and condition my hair as usual. Then I apply the Nioxin DTXT to the roots by squirting lightly in several areas and massaging into the scalp. Several minutes later I use a couple of sprays of the root lifter and style as usual. Frankly, even if I let my very straight, fine hair air dry I STILL have nice body! Which I have never had until using these products.

Yes, I use both Nioxin 3 Cleanser and Scalp Therapy. Then I towel dry my hair and spray it with the Nioxin Diamax, concentrating it on top of my head where my hair is so thin. I massage it into my head thoroughly and then blow dry it. This has made a world of difference in the appearance of my hair. Many people have commented about how lucky I am to have thick hair.

I have the 3 part system - #4 - and then I have the diamax. I was wondering at what point to I use the diamax. Before the treatments or after or at all?
I don't use the 3-part system; however I do use the diamax on a daily basis after shampooing my hair. It does seem to help make my hair appear thicker.
