Step 1- Shampoo with the Sulfate Free Clarifying shampoo from the kit to prepare hair for extraction. Rinse and towel dry. Step 2- Measure and mix equal parts of part 1 and part 2 of the Artificial Hair Color Extractor in a plastic or glass mixing bowl. Mix enough product relative to the length of hair.. Step 3- Apply immediately to hair. Take sections thin enough to ensure even product distribution using a bowl and brush application. If product comes into contact with any virgin hair, there will be no effect. Step 4- Once the hair is thoroughly saturated, place a plastic cap over hair and process under medium heat for 20 minutes. Step 5- Once processed, take the client directly from the heat source to the shampoo area. Thoroughly shampoo the hair twice from scalp to ends with PRAVANA Sulfate-Free Clarifying Shampoo. (It is important to note that during this shampooing process, you are in essence shampooing the color molecule from the hair. For the first shampoo, it is advisable to massage the product into a full lather and place a plastic cap over the hair for 2-3 minutes at room temperature. Manipulate the hair, not the scalp, as if you were working a stain out of a piece of cloth for 3-5 minutes. Each shampoo should be followed by a 2-3 minute warm rinse to ensure all product and color is freed from the hair.)
