GREAT COLOR for Sensitive Scalp
Im 62 and suddenly the past few years i started getting allergic itchy scalp reactions to other name brand Demi colors. I researched on line one day and came across this ISO Luminate brand. I found on Ebay and got the Deep Mocha color as i have dark brown hair. I needed a color really bad and had not colored my hair in 2 months and had half inch root white hairs. I used this color today and i was blown away on how wonderful it covered all my white hair. It looks so good on me. Its dark the way i like it but i know after you get into the second and third weeks it tones down. No ITCH NO allergic reaction NO inflammation. I cant believe it i found a safe hair color for me !! I even used my ION sensitive scalp developer i had plenty of that i was not using and it worked fine with this brand. I am writing this 3 hours later since coloring and my scalp feels so nice. I recommend this product to any one who suffers allergic reactions to hair color.
Highlights too blond!
I bought this product in two different colors, Light Ash Blonde, and Light Ash Brown, to cover up too blond highlights and a warm light brown shade I didn't like. I have a cool complexion, so warm colors don't suit my skin tone. I mixed half blonde and half brown and I'm pretty happy with the result, but next time I'd use 3/4 brown and 1/4 blonde, as I like more dark brown color. I like how the blonde highlights are muted and as the color washes out the highlights look more natural.
