Supremo Magic Move was winner of Allure magazine's "Best of Beauty" award. Design and redesign hair without reapplication. As reported in Marie Claire Magazine this pomade is a favorite with celeb stylists! It is called the best fixative, period! Unlike other pomades it works on all hair types.Gives hair a natural body and may be used with hot rollers for a wavy look. Buns, twists, braids and styling... Magic Move wont stiffen hair! It lets you adjust your hair style easily just with finger-combing, and adds natural body to your hair.

Magic Move is the most appropriate hair cosmetics for hair that is damaged by chemical treatments and/or environmental pollution. It adds body to hair with an action of thready organic fibers like a net, and finishes hair in sleek feeling. It does not harden hair excessively, just adds flowing moves to hair, and allows you to change your hair style repeatedly in the same day. You may hold a formed hair style for many hours, as it may not be influenced by temperature nor by humidity. It highlights colored hair well, and can be easily washed off with shampooing.

Magic Move comes in 3 formulas:

  • Soft - For fine hair. Adds body and volume to any hair style.
  • Hard - For coarse hair. Helps relax coarse hair for smoother looks.
  • Light - For all hair types. Adds shine, strength and manageability.

My hair is very fine and it never hangs right. It's got no body at the top and too much at the bottom. So far I really like this product because it makes the ends behave more like coarser hair. It saves me time fighting with it for sure.
Prosease of use
Consdoesn't smell great, but at least it's not perfumey.

Best hair product I have ever purchased - and will ever own. Don't even question your purchase, just buy it. Soft and light but with a good hold that looks perfect and natural.
ProsLight, good hold
Consnot sure yet... nothing?

I really like this product. I have color-treated hair & using this gives my hair more life, but using it too often will make it flat. I use it before I put my styling products in.

I like this very much but a little goes a long way. There is a learning curve to figuring out how best to use it. But I really think it gives a nice body and controlled "move-ability" to my very fine hair.

I love this product it's perfect for my fine, soft hair. My stylist showed it to me. The Japanese are known for their hair obsessiveness and this product proves their obsession has paid off.

First, whatever you do, you have to get the yellow tub. The red is ok, but the yellow is superb. I heard about this product from my stylist at Jonathan Salon in LA. He recommended this product without even pushing any of the salon's products AT ALL. Right away after my haircut he just told me, "I know what you need; magic move." Seriously, this stuff holds your hair in place without making it crunchy, hard, or anything like that. It doesn't make your hair sticky, and it also doesn't make your hair wet; hair stays a nice matte/dry look and doesn't clump together; instead, you get a nice full, thick and even head of hair. It really does last all day like the ads say. Some people don't have good reviews about this product, but I've never tried a product that worked so perfectly for my hair when everything else failed. I don't know what I'm going to do if they stop making this stuff, as many other will say.

Review for Supremo Magic Move - soft
My stylist recommended Magic Move Soft (yellow bottle) to me a bit more than a year ago. I was looking for something that will keep my hair looking natural (no sign of hair product of any kind), will hold all day even through wind, doesn't have a strong smell if any, and is easily washed out with water. If this is what you are looking for look no further. The only catch is that you should have your hair completely dry before applying--no problem. Also, try not to keep it in storage for more than 8 months as it will dry out and crack after that time. You can revive the stuff by rubbing in a bit of water, but it's a hassle.

This is such a popular product on beauty blogs and magazines. What is so good about this product? The packaging seems so cheap!
All I can say is that this stuff works for me -- a lot better than some more expensive products in fancier packaging. Lots of hold and texture without looking/feeling too stiff and shiny.

Hm...not sure what's wrong with the packaging, but It adds substance/texture to fine hair so that it hangs right. It may not to the same thing for different hair types, but it does what it claims to for sure.
