Love this schwarkzkopf hair color!
I searched on-line for a way to purchase salon products as I don’t have a cosmetology license and my hair grows super fast I am tired of paying 40-50 every 4 weeks for a root touch-up to cover my silver hair . I first began getting gray in my 20’s and am now 49 so needless to say I have a ton of gray. This product doesn’t really have a strong smell and it deposited a lot of pigment. I got the chocolate brown but I think I’ll go with more light brown ash as my hair has a tendency to have a lot of natural red and ash colors even out the reds better
Prosworks as described price point is affordable no strong odor color is good pigment color is just as described

Been using this product for many years. My colorist used it on my hair first...then I moved out of town and she gave me the information on my color and products. So I started coloring my own hair very successfully!!
ProsEasy to use and not damaging to my hair!!

Been using it for 6 years
I'm really satisfied of this hair color, been using it for 6 years already. Before this one I used to use Matrix. But here the effect of moisturized hair lasts much longer. For my opinion this color for dark hair is one of the most amazing. L'Oreal Pro is also great, but it's much more expensive and you have to put a lot of it on your hair.
ProsGood price Moisturized hair long lasting effect true color

Love it!
I use this as a highlift, and even though it says very ash my hair comes out with a beautiful natural blonde shade! Apparently hair has a lot of yellow and the ash counteracts it !

I have always used a 6% / 20 volume to lift my hair. My blonde hair has gotten so dark over the years that it is now a level 6. With Schwarzkopf would that be the same or do I use the 9% / 30 volume? I want to color within the 8 series, but not sure which one yet. I know I use the 8 natural to cover the gray and then add maybe the gold. Thank you.

I am a professional and have used many colors over the years. I would recommend the 30 volume for about 45 min on the roots. Schwartzcopf gives the best coverage of gray, and very even color. I hope this is a hell tp you

For gray coverage, make sure to use the "00" series, such as "6-00" or "7-00" as this is meant for gray coverage.

I have been using 5.0 and accidentally ordered 5.00 Will there be a noticible difference if I go ahead and use the 5.00?

I believe 5-0 is a lighter brown and 5-00 is a darker shade of the brown.

I think it may have been discontinued. Ask your stylist for the replacement color as Schwarzkopf comes out with new colors every couple months!

I am a cosmetologist and use 6-1 with antiorange on my own roots. The color is always great for the first couple weeks but fades very brassy/orange. This only happens to the sections of my hair I put the color on. The nape of my neck where I leave my natural color is great, my bleach foils also fine. Just the retouch color fades ugly! Suggestions?
