    Beautiful Hair Color
I used 9NA with 10V Nectaya developer on level 9-10 previously lightened hair. The mixture was very rich and creamy. I need an entire tube to saturate my short, neck length hair. My color was on the brassy side of orange/yellow, very brassy really which is why I wanted an ashy tone. I brush applied this on my roots for 20 minutes and then worked it through to my ends for another 10 minutes. The shade is beautiful. All my grey is covered and the color lasts without slip. This shade toned out all brassy bits and left my hair super soft and shiny. The 9NA is light and cool but not overly so. If you are already a cool blonde, it will make your hair even more ashy. Mine ended up a sandy, beige blond, which is what I wanted. I've not tried any other shades, but I'm sure they're all brilliant. I'm very happy with this product.
ProsBeautiful, balanced color, great gray coverage, super duper shine, great smell, works perfectly with the Nectaya developer.

    Great Product
I have several different colors in the blonde line and I mix and match depending on how my hair looks at the time. The products make my hair feel great and the coverage is superb. I would highly recommend this line to everyone.

I've been using Goldwell 6N,6B for years and have recently moved to 5N to cover 75% grey now. Trying to find color to be medium golden brown and for shoulder length hair. I never apply to the ends...just the roots, but still drys out the hair. Also, my hair is very porous, so color sticks pretty well. Would like to try the Nectaya to better condition my hair, but do not want to use both th Nectaya and the Top Chic. Can I just do the Nectaya with 20 volume peroxide?

I have been using Goldwell Colorance which is the only hair color I can use because I am extremely sensitive. I've only used semi-permanment color. I've never used Top Chic. My hair grows really fast and I have to color every three weeks. Is Nectaya gentle? What difference is in the formula? Can I try a sample first? If I use 6NN, 6NGB and 6A Colorance which is most compatible to Nectaya? Please answer all questions. Thank you so much.

I just bought 6N and 7NN with 20% developer. My hair color is dark brown and some gray hair. How to mix this all three for cover my gray hair and lighter my hair color? Please let me know.
    2 Answers
Hello! I am about 25% gray and mix equal parts 3n and 4n to get a very dark brown/black hair color. You would follow the exact instructions on the box. Nectaya is equal parts color to developer. If you use 1 oz nectaya you would use 1 oz developed and mix thoroughly. However, please note to lighten hair usually some level of lift has to be involved. I would recommend reaching out to a professional or your local beauty supply where they can assist you further. The 20 volume may not lift your dark brown hair enough and you may need to mix your color with a 30 volume. Also if you have ever dyed your hair before, this will be a totally different process and I would recommend going to a professional. You would have to first mildly lighten your hair with bleach if that is the case.

I find this brochure very useful, it gives all information from basic mixing (which is 1 part color to 1 part lotion) to detailed color chart study. Page 27 talks about NN and N and their qualities. Hope this helps.

Why does it itch most clients?
    3 Answers
I’ve never experienced any discomfort from this product. In fact, I’ve tried others and always come back to this Goldwell product because my curly, course hair is much smoother and more manageable after I use it. I have grey hair that grows quickly and this dye is gentle and conditions like nothing else I’ve tried and it doesn’t have harsh chemicals or odors, so I can use it every three weeks. My stylist thought it was a good fit and she was right. She tried others, but they never were as good for me. In between haircuts, I use this at home. I recommend it 100% and I’ve never experienced any discomfort.

Please explain the difference between 5N and 5NN and the difference/preference between Topchic and Nectaya. I have very dark hair with mostly grey I wish to cover. In the past, even 4N looked black on me. Thank you.
    1 Answers
The NN series contains more pigment than the regular N series, therefore covering grey more efficiently, as grey hair can be somewhat color resistant. Make sure you're prepared that the color will be darker than the regular N shade. Nectaya is the most conditioning haircolor I have ever used and I can only rave about it. I have never used Topchic, but went from Goldwell's Colorance, which is demi-permanent to Nectaya (permanent) as I am now almost 100% grey. I was afraid that the condition of my hair would suffer, but with Nectaya it is even better! Good luck!

I'm not quite sure what you are asking but you don't have to use the entire tube of color especially ehen you are micing several colors. Just be sure to mix equal parts of the developing lotion. I use three colors for example.

100% gray in front with 50% in back ( salt and pepper). Just about to use Top chic 7nn/6nn/with touch of 8gb . Saw Nataya! It says "up to 100% coverage" Up to? What does that mean? Top chic is 100% coverage. Is Nataya? What would be the equivalent of general inn/7nn mix in Nataya? Thanks so much!
    2 Answers
"Up" means up. It means you can get different result on different hair - it depends of the hair structure, natural color and other factors. For one client with 50% of grey hair you can get 100% of coverage, for other - not.
