Love this product. I have extremely dry hair. This makes my dry coarse hair feel very soft, and adds a shine.

The Absolute Best!!!!
I tried virgin coconut oil (which is great for a lot of uses) BUT NOT YOUR HAIR unless you are doing a deep conditioning or going for the "wet/oily" look. Kitoko Oil is a light oil that leaves no oily residue. Absolutely stops hair breakage, leaving a "clean, soft and natural" look.
ProsLight oil leaving hair soft and shiny.

This is the best Kitoko Oil Treatment I have ever used. It makes my hair so healthy looking and so shiny and soft. I love it!! It doesn't weigh my hair down like other oils I have tried. It makes it look healthy no matter how much I use. Never looks oily!! It feels great too!!!

Is NOT Sticky and Doesn't way your hair down...
Hi I'm a cosmetologist and was introduced to the Affinage product line while in school. I have been using it for over 2 years and have had nothing but great results, no matter what type of hair it's used on. I typically use about a scooped palm size amount on medium to long damp hair, pulling it thru the ends first and then running what's left over thru the crown. I use it on both damp and dry hair making sure to use less when the hair is already dry. It's great to touch up split and damaged ends and works awesome with a flatiron. I love it because it absorbs very quickly and doesn't contain waxy or plastic type products that only coat your strands to give the illusion that it's "healing" it. Oh, and the smell doesn't hurt either!
ProsSmell Shine Lightweight Not Sticky Absorbs Quickly

Kitoko Oil Treatment
My hair dresser recommended this for my daughters dry hair. I was really skeptical about putting extra oil in her hair. I thought conditioning would be enough. But, I have to say, her is so soft and pretty. The oil really does make a difference. She uses about 10 drops after she washes her hair. Makes all the difference.

My hair dresser suggested me to get this as my hair is chemically and heat damaged so badly and it has done nothing for my hair. It feels like it made my hair worse.. Is there a certain way I have to use or tips and tricks?

I have used this product for two years and I LOVE it. After washing and conditioning, I spray the Enjoy Conditioning Spray on my damp hair and then follow with the Kitoko Oil and comb it through. The conditioning spray helps protect my chemically- and heat-exposed hair, and this oil makes my hair shinier and cuts down on blow dry time. I use it pretty liberally, so I might suggest maybe increasing the amount you use? I hope it works!

There's no way the oil treatment could make your hair worse, because the ingredients are nothing but good for your hair. Try increasing the amount of oil you use. I thought the oil did nothing to my hair too at first because I was using a tiny tiny amount, but I like it better once I started using more, because my hair is very dry as well and it drinks up the oil pretty quickly when I apply it, and even when I use more oil it still doesn't weigh my hair down. I find it works best when I apply the oil on wet hair after washing it. Maybe you can change your shampoo to a more gentle, sulfate-free or soap-free shampoo and use a more rich and thick conditioner to help improve the overall condition of your hair.

For my hair, less is more. I pump a very small amount into my palm, rub my hands together and distribute through my hair--concentrating mainly on the mid shaft and ends of my hair. I sometimes also mix in a few drops of the Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment

I purchased Affinage Kitoko Oil Treatment because I wanted a natural hair treatment that will benefit my long and permed hair. However, this treatment has synthetic odor and did not benefit my hair at all. I stopped using this treatment after a few times because it made me hair more brittle. A friend of mine introduced me to organic virgin coconut oil from Trader Joe's and gave me a few teaspoons to try on my hair. After one usage, I was hooked! Trader Joe's organic virgin coconut oil is 100% natural and I love the coconut smell. It definitely benefits my fine wavy hair!!!

How does this compare to the other argan oils on the market?

It is thinner in consistency than most argan oil serums on the market. It is easier to distribute through the hair because of this. You coat the hair evenly and no worries on over-applying. It has shea butter in it which is not in most argan oil serums I have come across. I love this oil for hair and was so happy to see this included in this serum. Doesn't have that tacky, greasy feel of typical thicker serums either.

I've used Kitoko for several months now and love it. I color my hair and it helps with hydration but would not consider it to be a product to use excluseivly as a hydrator - conditioner still needed. This oil is lighter oil than the Argan products which tend to make my hair too heavy. But by far the thing I love most about this oilis how great it smells, I use it on my arms and legs as well!
