Boo on new formula!
I have used Abba products for nearly 25 years and their products were wonderful. Now they have changed the formula and my favorite, the leave-in conditioner is just horrible!! The ingredients are terrible compared to the old one and the smell is almost unbearable, like an old woman's expired perfume. I actually have no words to explain the disappointment of the way this line of products has gone down. The quality of ingredients is just like a low grade department store brand and it works nothing like what it used to. Now shopping for a new brand as Abba has now lost a longtime, loyal customer. I do not recommend this product at all.
Cons-terrible smell -works nothing like original formula -do not recommend at all

Great
This is an overall good product. I have normal hair on top and a little dry on the end from dying; this conditioner leave my hair super shiny, healthy looking and always getting compliments on the incredible smell. Definitely a recommendation, sleek hair carries so many great and different products.

Abba pure gentle conditioner
Loved the original product it was great. Used it on hair and face for 25 + years. Old formula was thick and worked great. The new product is thin and gone way up in price. Must have a new CEO needing his big bonuses. The new product is junk!!!!!!!

The old version "Nourishing Leave-On Moisturizer for Hair and skin was FAR SUPERIOR
The old version "Nourishing Leave-On Moisturizer leaves my hair silky, smooth, shiny and very manageable. The newer version leaves it with a heavier texture and dull. With all due respect....I'm very disappointed that the old version is no longer available. Also, after no longer being able to find ABBA Products in retail outlets in my area and having to order from so far away, which makes it more costly and inconvenient I am disappointed to discover that it is no longer the Superior product that I had previously experienced. I don't understand why companies do this. They take a fabulous product that is obviously in demand and make unnecessary changes to it. If it costs more money to produce, I would gladly pay more for the same superior product. I compared the ingredients from the old version "Nourishing Leave-On Conditioner" with the ingredients from the new version "Pure and Gentle Leave-On Conditioner" and discovered that not only the name of the product has changed, Certain key ingredients were exchanged for something else and the order of the ingredients has changed as well (Meaning; that the largest concentration of ingredients are always the first to appear on the list and so on down the line). The quantity of certain ingredients (like alcohol) has moved up the list while the quantity of the botanicals has moved down. Perhaps this is why my hair is heavy and dull. Is it possible to get some of the old version again? Please. I will use up my order as it is too much of a pain and expense to ship back. However unless for some reason it starts to do something for my hair I will not waste any time, effort, energy or money on it again. Thank you for listening. Yours in disappointment.

The Best Leave-in Conditioner on the Market!
Abba's Pure Gentle Leave-in conditioner is perfect for my fine curly hair!!!! (Does anyone remember a pharmacy called Phar-mor? It was an excellent chain of Pharmacies/ general store where you could buy anything very cheap. That's where I discovered the Abba line of products. Abba was one of the first salon-quality products to have a decent leave-in conditioner for curly hair. I have been using this leave-in conditioner since 1991, it's that good!)
ProsThe scent is pleasant, and you can also use the conditioner as a hand lotion.
ConsNothing!

An oldie but a goodie!
Not many conditioners work for me, but this one never fails to make my hair silky and manageable. My hair is long, colored, bleached and dry with frizzy fly-away. I'll use it after shampooing and rinse lightly to leave some in, or if I use another conditioner after shampooing, I'll always follow up with a teaspoon of this to leave in and ensure silkiness and calmness. I also use this as a body lotion. Just use a little on damp hands and a small amount goes a long way. Relieves the itchiness and definitely hydrates dry skin. I think I've been using this stuff for over 9 years now. But leaving too much on the hair will make it feel heavy and coated. Just experiment and you'll figure out what works for you. Can't go wrong with it!
ProsCan also use on dry skin.

Love It
I am very happy with this leave-in conditioner. Other leave-in conditioners I have used haveleft my hair oily and lifeless but this one is very light and non-oily. I do not have to wash my hair the next day after using this one. Purchase the 33.8 oz. liter size; it is huge and will last a long time. Good value

Well made product!
I believe a leave in conditioner should do just that- left in to condition lightly. Lots of others contain really unnecessary ingredients that can flake off(like mousse or hairspray) which I do not want in a leave in... unless your hair is extremely dry/coarse, this is probably all you need for your hair after you shampoo/condition. Abba did a good job with this one guys~!!

I am getting the idea that they have changed the formula on this product again. I would like to hear from anyone who has used THIS product NOW versus say ten years ago.

I will buy this conditioner right now if it is the old formula, not the quinoa complex.
